Our new policy paper "The European Way – A Blueprint for Reclaiming Our Digital Future" has sparked wide interest, including coverage in the Financial Times, Euractiv, MLex, Table.Media,Tagesspiegel, WEB.DE, and Handelsblatt. Across outlets, the message is clear: Europe must act decisively to regain digital sovereignty, break through political deadlock, and reform its approach to tech governance.

Great to see that our new policy paper ("The European Way. A Blueprint for Reclaiming Our Digital Future") that we published yesterday is creating a lot of interest 🚀😇 By the way, you can access it still here.
There was of course the Financial Times reporting about it but there was more. Here an overview:
In Euractiv's Tech Pro Brief from today on "Another call for strategic thinking on tech", I explain that we need real policy change ... if the European Commission "continues doing things the way it has in the past, it will (end) in failure".
The Tagesspiegel Background wrote a nice piece on 'Digitale Souveränität: Initiative fordert optionalen EU-Club' and focussed - among other things - on our proposals how to overcome the political stalemate when it comes to real reforms (The "Sovereignty Compact").
At WEB.DE and together with Prof. Dr. Rolf Schwartmann, I published a digital policy call to the new German government ("Die digitale Schicksalsfrage Europas – Ein Appell an die neue Bundesregierung"). The digital part of the coalition agreement is a great start but bold steps need to follow now. And Germany must become more active in EU policy again. The time of indifference must be over!
In a Handelsblatt op-ed ("Wie Europa nicht zur Digitalkolonie verkommt") that I wrote together with my Dr. Miriam Meckel and Philipp Hacker, we analyse what went wrong and what now needs to change ASAP in order to regain our strategic autonomy and safeguard our economic strength & democratic stability.
Table.Media featured a summary of our paper under the heading 'Digital sovereignty: Experts call for a European approach'.
MLex uploaded our paper in their policy paper database.
